Who is QVAC?
Neway Packaging Corp.
is now the North American Distributor for
QVAC as of January, 2008.
We are pleased to announce the addition
of the new PA Series of the skin
packaging machines!
QVAC is the oldest continuously operating manufacturer
of skin packaging machinery in the country.
Originally known as Quality Vacuum Forming Machinery
Co., QVAC started operation in 1968 and has been under present management since April
1973.
Our primary business in those years
was manually operated machines for the 3-D Magnetic sign business. The
machines were upgraded to semi-automatic operation with timers and
pneumatics replacing the manual operation.
We stayed on the cutting edge of
the latest technology while the competition remained unchanged.
We were first with printed circuit
controls and later with programmable logic controls. Our lines of
machinery have evolved over the years keeping pace with the
latest technology to offer our customers the fastest, most energy
efficient skin packaging, blister forming and vacuum forming machines
available.
The PC series machines utilize Programmable Logic
Controllers and our exclusive radiant panel heaters. The machine
cycle time is nearly 3 times as fast as competitive machines.
In addition to skin packaging and
blister forming, these machines are capable of forming most plastics up
to and including 1/8" thick.
Our Q 1218 automatic conveyor belt blister sealers are
capable of up to 10 cycles per minute with automatic unloading.
However, we have not overlooked the
customer
with lower production requirements.
The E-Z series are basic skin packaging/blister forming
machines with solid state timers, tubular heating elements and much faster heat cycles
than most machines.
For start up operations, the T series machines are
the perfect answer. These are semi automatic units and can be upgraded to the
automatic E-Z series.
The S 1218 shuttle sealer can be operated by 1 or 2
people and is ideal for lower production requirements.
The QQC series roller press die cutters utilize low
cost wood/rule dies. Changing dies can be as easy as taking one off
the conveyor and setting
the next one on with no adjustments needed.
We also make custom PC machines in sizes up
to 48 x 60 inch working area.
From simple, manually operated machines in 1968 to the
most efficient state of the art machines of today, QVAC has paced the industry for
35
years.
